Here we are in the beginning of the “green” season in Guanacaste. Why do we call this green season? Well, because all the trees and plants that have made it through our drier time of year are beginning to turn green! There are buds and small leaves springing out and you can literally see the colors change from more browns and yellows to vibrant hues of green out in our sweeping valley views. This area of Costa Rica’s Pacific coast has this wonderful change of season around May 15th. So far, we’ve had a few small rains, and are hearing the daily sounds of the frogs and howler monkeys.
