“How much rain do you get in the rainy season?”
A frequently asked question here at Panacea. We used to have a friend down in the valley with a rain gauge who faithfully recorded each day, and this would then get put into the Howler, the local monthly magazine. Typically, here in our area of Costa Rica, we have six months of no rain (mid-November to mid-May) and then six months of “green season”. This is when we have the potential for rain. We don’t necessarily get rain each day, but we could, and we don’t typically get rain all day long, but we can. Dry season you are pretty much guaranteed sunny, warm weather. Green season we cool down a bit (like high 70s F at night and 80s during the day) and everything becomes lush and green. Either season is still delightful here. So choose what works best for your preferences and come on down!
