Morning yoga was based on getting all of us ready for some climbing and hiking in the Andes. Followed by a delicious breakfast (homemade granola or oats, fresh fruit, yogurt, home made bread with cheese, tomato, avocado, or butter, honey, and jam, along with teas, coffee, and fresh fruit juices – YUM!). Vanessa and Grace went with Doug for the “extreme” hike, while the rest of us followed the Sauce’ trail, crossing the river and heading up to meet Peter’s donkey, Lorraine helped out a dog in need of water, and Paula and Debbie compared colorful sneakers! Off to the healing waters of the baths, then good massages, facials, and exfoliations abounded, and once again everyone opted to stay in for another one of Jacquilene’s awesome meals.
Our afternoon session was all about communication – when does this flow and when does it get blocked? Do I listen more than I speak or vice versa? We practiced speaking our truth, and noted the Buddhist principles of right speech. All of us noticed how consciously we communicated during dinner this evening!
