Guanacaste, Costa Rica (April 16, 2015) – Panacea de la Montaña, a yoga retreat in Costa Rica, will be on the road for a yoga adventure in Peru, to be held from October 11 to October 18 this year. The activity will let participants explore and have fun while doing yoga.
The Peru retreat is a part of the said Costa Rica yoga spa adventures. It will take participants to the country’s several ancient ruins, including the famed Incas ruins The retreat will include daily yoga practices, including asanas, pranayama, yoga nidra, and meditations with the objective of enabling each of the participants to connect with his/her inner wisdom.
Panacea chose the venues to conduct yoga practices that will reflect ancient wisdom by being surrounded by the energy of the architecture of the ancient civilizations. The retreat will also involve the exploration of the outer landscapes of the remnants of ancient civilizations. This will be done in between the starting sessions in the morning and the gathering in the evening.
The trip will start from Cusco, commonly called the “Archaeological Capital of the Americas”. The city presents a beautiful mix of indigenous culture and the modernity of the western world. In Cusco, the Inca walls, featuring gigantic granite blocks that were carved to perfectly fit together without using mortar, are the first to greet incoming visitors. What many find incredible about this architecture is how its design has withstood the test of time, while the colonial architecture of the Spanish has had to be rebuilt many times after hits from earthquakes.
The trip is divided into eight days, each following a schedule pattern of morning yoga, breakfast, exploration, and then evening meditation. An exception is the first day which would involve the arrival and the evening opening circle. The participants and teachers will explore a different site every day.
